Chelsea and Tottenham Keep Tabs on Inter Loanee at Brest

Inter-owned Brest loanee Martin Satriano is garnering interest from top Premier League clubs after impressing during his short spell in Ligue 1. The young striker has knocked four goals in 12 league appearances in the French top-flight and despite those numbers not being the cream of the crop, he appears on the radars of two London giants.

According to British outlet Daily Mirror, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping close tabs on Satriano after his loan performances have roused attention all over Europe, including Ligue 1 heavyweights Lille and Marseille.

The Uruguayan signed with the Nerazzurri in the winter window of 2020 on a four-year contract and made his professional senior debut for the club only in August 2021. However, the lack of game time and overload of strikers forced Inter to loan him to Brest until the end of the current season.

The 21-year-old is now touted to act as a back-up striker for either of the two London clubs, with both Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel eager to bolster their respective forward lines ahead of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign. The youngster has a transfermarkt value of €4m, making him utterly affordable for any interested suitor, but as per reports, Inter are reluctant to see the promising striker leave.

Satriano is of Italian descent and was eligible to play for the Italy national team but he turned down the offer to opt for Uruguay instead.
