Chelsea Hot on Trail for Milan and Napoli Target Hojlund

Atalanta starlet Rasmus Hojlund has been one of Serie A’s breakout stars this season, winning the praise of many clubs, especially from within Italy. The Danish international is now drawing attention from the Premier League, with one club in particular interested in his services.

As per The Daily Mail, Chelsea have strong interest in signing Hojlund on a permanent transfer, with new club owner Todd Boehly eager to continue his transfer strategy despite the turmoil following the departure of coach Graham Potter.

Atalanta demand at least €60M for the Dane, who is seemingly a Manchester United fan. However, the prospect of playing in the Premier League at 20 could entice the transfer. Chelsea are so keen on the youngster’s services that they reportedly invited Atalanta chief Antonio Percassi to the Stamford Bridge in their second-leg tie against Borussia Dortmund.

Milan and Napoli have also been linked strongly with the center-forward. Hojlund joined La Dea at the start of the season for €17M, but his market value has thus far doubled, rising up to €35M, according to transfermarkt.
