With the winter transfer window quickly approaching, Premier League giants Chelsea have set their sights on the Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen.
Since arriving from French outfits Lille in the summer of 2019, the Nigerian international has scored 28 goals in 58 appearances for I Partenopei.
So far throughout this year’s campaign, the 23 year-old talisman has notched five goals and one assist in nine appearances for the Serie A giants across all competitions.
With the striker displaying a great deal of consistency in front of goal, many top clubs have been intrigued and are eager to acquire the rising star.
According to reports from Calciomercato, Chelsea are eager to lure the young attacker to the Stamford Bridge in order to improve their depth within the front-line. The Blues are plotting an opening bid worth €65m.
With Osimhen’s contract only set to run out in the summer of 2025, it remains to be sen whether the club will offload one of their most valuable assets within the near future in order to raise funds.
