Chelsea Wantaway Remains Determined to Join Juventus

Romelu Lukaku is receiving increasingly wealthy offers from Saudi Arabia, but he’s not wavering as he wishes to move to Juventus. All three parties have arranged the deal, but the Bianconeri have to sell Dusan Vlahovic first, Corriere dello Sport relays.

Once that happens, the Old Lady will pay €40M to Chelsea and hand the striker a three-year contract with a €9M annual salary. He stayed in Cobham to practice while his current team took off for the United States.

The Blues are pressuring Lukaku to depart sooner rather than later, but he wants to wait for Juventus. They’d get more from either Al Ahli or Al Hilal, which have put €50M on the table. He’d also earn mammoth wages, but he doesn’t want to leave Europe for the time being.

According to the publication, all the current Bianconeri strikers are available for the right offer. That also goes for Moise Kean and even Arkadiusz Milik, even though he just joined on a permanent deal from Olympique Marseille.

Our Take on Juventus and Lukaku

It’d be an odd move for Cristiano Giuntoli, but the fee would be somewhat feasible if they cashed in as much as they hoped for Vlahovic. He has changed his mind so many times before that the outcome is far from certain, though.
