Claudio Lotito Not Worried with Lazio Recent Poor Results

Lazio got off to a quick start under Maurizio Sarri, but they slowed down and failed to win in the last three tilts. Chairman Claudio Lotito is not preoccupied with the slide: “We need time to jell. As with all things, it takes patience. We hope our positive attitude will allow us to build the right mentality over time. We need to create those mechanics that are not there yet due to drastic tactical shift.”

Tuttomercatoweb transcribed his presser at a charity event: “I do not think Lazio lack fighting spirit. We are proactive and that could raise some questions for those who pay attention mostly to the result. It is a choice that encourages the fans to be more participative. There was a big change also in our psychological posture too. The club is more ambitious now.”

Lazio would like to have their own stadium sooner rather than later: “It is a matter that is ongoing. We are tackling the red tape. We are trying to make the needs of the city and our own coincide. That being said, we hope to find a solution.”

Lazio will collect food for the poor in the upcoming Derby with Roma: “It is our duty and our pleasure to be close to the needy. We want to involve the public opinion and spread the word as much as possible. We chose a big occasion for the initiative. The match is important, but we go on the pitch as opponents and not as enemies. It will be a cheerful day.”
