Como Plan to Put Juventus Outcast of His Turin Misery

Serie A newcomers Como are poised to follow in the footsteps of Monza and establish themselves as a permanent top-flight fixture. According to TMW, last season’s Serie B runners-up have established contact with Juventus to discuss Hans Nicolussi Caviglia’s switch to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Though we’re still early in the summer, Como have been active in the transfer market. Cesc Fabregas’ men have already struck several high-profile deals to assemble a squad capable of handling Serie A challenges. Andrea Belotti has arrived from Roma to compete with Alberto Cerri and former Milan starlet Patrick Cutrone for a starting berth.

Apart from Belotti, Gabriel Strefezza has joined Como on loan from Lecce, but the ambitious Lombard outfit won’t stop there. Juventus, Nicolussi is the next target, with the Bianconeri willing to sanction the 24-year-old’s departure after he failed to carve out a regular first-team spot at the Allianz Stadium.

Nicolussi’s contract expires in 2026, meaning Como could sign him on a cut-price deal. The versatile midfielder barely featured for Juventus last season. He made just ten appearances in all competitions. Though eight of them came in Serie A, only three saw him start the game, underscoring his marginal status in Turin.

Though Juventus value their misfit at €10 million, Como would probably be able to land him on more favorable terms, considering the player is equally interested in ending his dismal six-year association with the record-time Italian champions.
