Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot is close to leaving the club following an unsuccessful but impressive World Cup campaign where he shone with the French national team. The player’s entourage has so far struggled to come to terms with the club management to extend Rabiot’s stay, meaning he could be sold soon enough.
According to English outlet BBC (via Tuttomercatoweb), Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to sign the central midfielder. Antonio Conte is said to be an admirer of the Frenchman’s abilities in the center of the field, having already conveyed his message to sporting director Fabio Paratici.

Rabiot’s contract expires at the end of the season, and the Bianconeri want to cash in on him instead of parting ways with him on a free transfer. The 27-year-old is wanted by Massimiliano Allegri to stay until the end of the campaign, but financially tight Juventus might be obliged to sell him this winter window. Juventus would be open to transfer fee in the range of €15-20M.
England is his preferred destination and Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool are some of the other Premier League clubs interested in him.
