Correa Pushing Lazio Exit, Premier League Bid to Arrive Soon

Joaquin Correa’s Lazio future seems to be in contention after the player most recently asked the Biancocelesti to be sold – to one club in particular. According to most recent reports from The Laziali, the Argentine forward is keen on reuniting with his former manager Simone Inzaghi at the Giuseppe Meazza.

However, Inter themselves are in the midst of a transfer saga regarding one of their star strikers in Romelu Lukaku, who is gradually being courted to London by Chelsea. It was reported earlier that Lautaro Martinez’s potential departure would allow the Nerazzurri to accommodate a new striker. Either one of the two striking stars are bound to leave Inter this summer.

Correa is not short of suitors, with three more clubs in Paris Saint-Germain, Leicester City and Everton lining up to make a bid. The Toffees are indicated to make a €25m initial offer plus bonuses for the Lazio striker. PSG’s interest has not materialized into anything yet.

Anything around the €30m mark should prompt Lazio to sell him.

The 26-year-old has been with Lazio since the 2018/19 season, so far scoring 30 goals in 117 appearances.
