Roma striker Eldor Shomurodov has not experienced a smooth start to the 2022/23 campaign, appearing just 8 times and scoring one goal in the process for the club so far. A fringe player under Jose Mourinho, the Uzbek center-forward is on the verge of exiting the club in one of the two upcoming transfer windows.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Voce Giallorossa), Cremonese is a likely destination for Shomurodov, who is currently dealing with the lack of game time at the Giallorossi. He is valued at €10M by Roma – a price that the newly-promoted Grigiorossi find excessive. However, both clubs maintain good relations, especially after the transfer of Felix Afena Gyan to the Lombardy club.

Reports from Sky Sport also indicate the presence of Torino in the transfer race for the ex-Genoa forward. The Granata already followed the forward last summer, eager to sign him on a permanent deal but it was all for naught. Striker Pietro Pellegri’s injury has accelerated the Turin outfit’s hunt for a replacement. Additionally, with the potential interest in midfielder Sasa Lukic, Roma and Torino could strike up a swap deal.
