Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals Intention to Part Ways with Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Juventus is set to be up as he has openly revealed his desire to leave the club after four seasons and three years in Turin. The Bianconeri management, including Pavel Nedved and Massimiliano Allegri, have so far said that Ronaldo wants to stay but reports say otherwise.

The Portuguese superstar has already spoken to his teammates at the club and informed them that he wants to leave in search of new opportunities.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is already said to be in ‘direct contact’ with Manchester City for a potential move and to discuss the player’s enormous salary, which will not be as high as the current €31m cap at Juventus. His contract with the Bianconeri expires in June 2022.

He has a market value of €45m, according to transfermarkt, and remains the most marketable athlete in the world.

However, his allegiances with Manchester United are bound to take shape as a move to blood-rivals City would turn topsy-turvy for the fans of his ex-club who still adore him.

Mendes has reportedly been in touch with Manchester United too regarding the 36-year-old’s future.

All that needs to happen now is for Juventus to receive a decent offer so that they can part with Ronaldo amicably.
