Danilo Believes Ronaldo Will Stay at Juventus, PSG Only Alternative?

Danilo just reached the Copa America final with Brazil: “After the season I had, winning it would be the highest point of my career. I skipped two editions due to injuries and could not finish the 2018 World Cup, while I was not called up for the last one. We are ready to take on Argentina.”

The defender weighed in some Juventus-related topics in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I am very curious and motivated to play under Massimiliano Allegri. His résumé speaks for itself.  Having a winning coach is the best possible thing for somebody like me that always wants to improve. Champions League is everybody’s dream, but, after a rough season, it will more important to take home the Scudetto first.”

Danilo thinks Cristiano Ronaldo will stay: “Having him on the roster is great, because he scores loads of goals. He is a dear friend of mine, we have known each other since our time at Real Madrid. He will still be with us next season.”

Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported yesterday that PSG is now the lone viable landing spot for the Portuguese ace. The talks between the parties have only been preliminary thus far though. Therefore, Manchester United, which recently signed Jadon Sancho, and Real Madrid may no longer be in the picture.

Danilo suggested an addition: “Gabriel Jesus is very strong and intelligent. He would improve even further in Italy because Serie A teams bunker up well and it is harder to score. If it was up to me, I would bring him to Juventus.”
