De Laurentiis Unlikely to Budge in Osimhen Transfer Talk

Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis has held talks with Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda given the increasing demand for the striker’s services. However, the longtime club patron is playing pinball with the fee required to lure, perhaps in a bid to evade the attention bestowed upon the in-demand Nigerian striker.

According to information relayed by Sky Italia, De Laurentiis has informed that €150M will be needed  to definitively sell Osimhen. Paris Saint-Germain have already tabled an offer in the range of €120M, but Napoli have expectedly turned it down.

Osimhen is in talks to extend his stay at the Partenopei, but the Scudetto winners will unlikely match the wage packages offered by the big clubs, including Manchester United and PSG. Additionally, Calenda is expected to hold talks himself with Osimhen in order to figure how the striker’s future will pan out.

The 2022/23 Capocannoniere winner earns approximately €5.5M net per season at Napoli, and is expected to bag a tidy sum if and when he makes the top money transfer.

Osimhen will see his Napoli contract expire in June 2025.
