Dimarco Confident Inter Will Win Title Despite Recent Slide

Federico Dimarco has no doubts Inter will come out on top despite the ongoing run of poor results: “We know our value, and we will win the Scudetto. I suffered two major injuries and made big sacrifices to arrive to this point. Wearing this jersey is not a burden but rather a pleasure.”

The defender talked to SportMediaset about the coaches he had so far: “I will always thank Ivan Juric because he allowed me to become the player I am today. He believed in me right away. He and Simone Inzaghi helped me a lot even though they have very different methods.”

Dimarco, who is a product of the youth academy, recently extended his contract with Inter through 2026: “I was aiming for it since last summer. It was a tremendous piece of news and an emotional moment for me. There was no need to convince me.”

“I am not afraid of the competition; on the contrary, it needs to be lively. I have a good relationship with Alessandro Bastoni and Aleksandr Kolarov, who always give me a lot of advice. The performances of Robin Gosens speak for themselves, as he had some fantastic years at Atalanta.”

The fullback is not preoccupied with the recent slip-ups: “We are struggling a little, but we do not fear anybody. Some missteps could happen, but the key is not to lose your certainties. We will look to exact revenge on Milan in the upcoming Coppa Italia derbies. We are laser-focused on bringing home results in all competitions.”
