Disappointed Lazio Fans Call for Protest Meeting at Training Ground

Lazio ultra fans issued a statement against President Claudio Lotito and Director of Football Igli Tare on Wednesday to express their disappointment at the recent transfer market session. This is not the first time that the Lazio supporters make their voice heard after what they call an underwhelming calciomercato window.

Despite two players joining in the last hours of the session, the fans don’t seem to be happy with the club intentions. Forward Jovane Cabral and midfielder Dimitrije Kamenovic were not welcomed with much enthusiasm by coach Maurizio Sarri either.

Financial problems forced Lotito and Tare to operate on a tight budget and prevented them from signing any “big name.”

The supporter’s harsh words were published on the official social profiles of the Curva Nord (“North Stands”) and read:

“Protest are made at the stadium, in person, and not only by writing on social media.

We witnessed as usual a ridiculous and improvised transfer market session, the consequence of a project that does not exist. Lazio is ours and not of those who manage it!

That’s enough. Who really cares about this team must show it now. Let’s all meet on Thursday, February 3 at 1:00 PM at the gates of Formello to shout out all our contempt for this management who does not care about their fans!

From the high ticket price, to the downsizing transfer market campaign!

Never a step back. Hands off from Lazio!

Ultras Lazio

Per their official statement, the Lazio supporter groups will gather at the Biancocelesti training ground tomorrow to protest in person and make their disappointment heard.
