Donnarumma Closer to PSG as Szczesny Denies Buzz of Juventus Exit

Gianluigi Donnarumma might play the Euro as a free agent, as no team has offered him the contract he is looking for yet. Mino Raiola recently met with PSG to address also other matters, like the future of Moise Kean. The French club currently leads the race and could decide to meet his demands, transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullà reports. However, they are satisfied with Keylor Navas, who is a key figure inside the locker room, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Donnarumma having to compete for the starting job or leaving on loan appear to be farfetched solutions. Barcelona are in a similar spot considering the presence of Marc André Ter Stegen. The Italian goalkeeper is eyeing an eight-figure salary after turning down €8M annual wages from Milan. He has rebuffed an exploratory inquiry from Roma.

Juventus have slowed down their chase after the ousting of Fabio Paratici and the hiring of Massimiliano Allegri, who will be highly influential in the transfer market. The coach would reportedly be happy to keep relying on Wojciech Szczesny if they did not find a good solution to move him.

The Polish goalkeeper weighed in on his future yesterday after being asked about the Bianconeri possibly adding Donnarumma. “I will try to answer this question once and for all. I have never had any contact with Juventus or other clubs because we are not openly discussing my departure. I think it is time to make it clear, and I am not the one responsible for what my club does on the transfer market.”
