Dybala Talks About the Challenge Between him and Ronaldo

Can they play together in one formation? Which one of them should Juventus sell? Almost three years after the Portuguese’s arrival to Turin, these questions are still being posed regarding Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.

Nonetheless, the Bianconeri are surely blessed to have world class talents like those two within their ranks, and they seem to be enjoying a friendly rivalry.

The Argentine star has been serving the Old Lady since the summer of 2015, and has now scored 99 goals in the famous black and white jersey.

However, his older teammate has been on a much faster pace, reaching 97 goals since joining the club in 2018.

So who will reach his century first?

“Ronaldo and I are challenging each other to reach 100 goals with Juventus. I need only one, while he still misses three. He always wants to win, even in training, and if he loses he becomes intractable for a few minutes,” said Dybala whilst speaking on Twitch (via ilBianconero).

La Joya replied to questions on various topics, including his compatriots Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero, as well some of his current and former teammates.

“There was a certain talk about Messi’s possible arrival to Juventus but it was known that it would be very difficult. Messi or Ronaldo? they are two different players, I wouldn’t be able to choose one.

“Aguero is a special character. People know what he is like, he is a phenomenon on and off the pitch, there is no question. Barcelona? He has a good relationship with everyone, especially with Leo Messi.

“Now it is impossible to organize gatherings with companions to eat together. Otherwise I like to find myself with Morata, Alex Sandro, Arthur and others,” said the Argentine striker.

“Cuadrado is one of the best players we have in terms of performance in recent years, which is great for us. He used to play in a very advanced role, now he has moved to the position of full-back but practically plays wherever he is needed the most.

“Juventus is a serious club. But then there are us South Americans who contrast it a bit. For example, the year with Dani Alves was a special one. But I must also say the seasons with Patrice Evra were extremely funny,” concluded Dybala.
