Empoli and Fiorentina have been in talks for a few days to try setting up a multi-player deal, but both sides have changed the pieces and terms on the table, making it more unlikely. The Viola have removed Christian Kouamé from the negotiation after his early showings. Nedim Bajrami has significantly fewer chances of transferring too.
As per Alfredo Pedullà, the Gigliati made a strong approach for Fabiano Parisi. They offered young fullback Aleksa Terzic in return. They want to sign the Italian starlet right away or at least get an option for January or next summer. The two clubs didn’t come to terms on such front.
Empoli and Fiorentina have agreed on the valuation of Szymon Zurkowski, who would move on a permanent deal. Though, it’s not certain it will happen if things don’t make progress elsewhere. Bajrami seems determined to leave. He was targeted by the home crowd in Wednesday’s match against Verona.
While the talks with the Viola are progressing slowly, the Azzurri will welcome Marko Pjaca from Juventus, who is poised for another loan move, with a €5M option to buy, Corriere dello Sport relays. He will look to put his career back on track after the failed stints at Anderlecht, Genoa, Fiorentina, and Torino. The Tuscan side are also after Cagliari’s Sebastian Walukiewicz to round out their defensive corps.

You can never have enough good players, but Bajrami might be overkill after adding Antonin Barak. Keeping somebody who wants out would be problematic for the Azzurri, though. Parisi is a great prospect, and securing him for the future would suffice since Cristiano Biraghi has a couple of good seasons in him.
