As Victor Osimhen prepares to make a return for the UEFA Champions League following his back-to-back exclusions from the squad due to fitness problems, the noise surrounding his future has not scaled down. Osimhen has been eyed continuously since the start of the season, thanks to his prolific form, and it doesn’t look like interested teams are going to back out anytime soon.
According to Manchester Evening News (via TuttoNapoli), Manchester United have accelerated their efforts to sign the Nigerian marksman, intending to challenge fellow European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. The 24-year-old is contracted in Naples until the summer of 2025, and does not see himself leaving the Partenopei anytime soon.

However, he has not shied away from voicing out his intention to pursue a career in the Premier League. Similarly, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to see the striker stay, but any offer above the €120M mark will be entertained by the management.

No talks have been scheduled between the two parties with regards to a contract extension.
Osimhen has 25 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances this season for Napoli.
