With rumors looming regarding the potential departure of the midfield maestro Fabian Ruiz from Napoli to the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona at the end of this year’s campaign, the Spaniard’s agent Marco Branca has revealed that several European giants are eyeing I Partenopei star very closely.
As it stands, the 25 year old’s contract with Napoli is set to expire in the summer of 2023. As a result, this leaves the possibility for prestigious clubs to acquire the holding midfielder for a low-ball price compared to his market value following this year’s season since I Partenopei can potentially lose him for free on a pre-contract agreement.
So far this season, the Napoli midfield dynamo has been in spectacular form as he managed to score six goals and provide three assists in 24 appearances within the Serie A. Therefore, his fine run of consistency has attracted an immense amount of interest across Europe.
In an interview with Radio Punto Nuovo, Marco Braca has admitted that several European giants are keen on signing the 25 year-old midfield ace following his incredible displays this season: “It’s very easy to judge him, I think he has an appeal all over Europe. The club has already an idea, but we’ll face the situation at the right moment. There is time to do everything, the market is close but it’s still too early to talk. Sometimes clubs are forced to make certain decisions, sometimes it’s the player who wants to leave.”
