Felipe Anderson is in advanced talks to renew his Lazio contract, and it appears the signature will arrive shortly, even though the attacker is prioritizing what happens on the pitch. The winger spoke about his future to TNT Sports Brasil (via Fantacalcio).
“I have to make the right decision. I’m happy and in good form now and feel to be more motivated and stronger every day. As for the transfer market, there were many inquiries, but, as I always say, it’s right for me to be here, even more so considering the delicate moment the group is going through since we haven’t won much in Serie A.”
Felipe Anderson reportedly received offers from Saudi Arabia but decided to stay put at Lazio.
“My sister is my agent and stays in touch with clubs. I have to focus on myself and my team. I don’t think about any other things at the moment, even though the contract is very important.”
According to Il Messaggero (via Mediaset), Lazio offered Felipe Anderson a new three-year contract with a €2.8M salary plus add-ons. The deal would run until 2027 since his current one is about to run out. The negotiation was at a good point during the summer and accelerated after the win over Napoli.
