FIGC Chief Gravina Hits Back at La Liga President Javier Tebas

La Liga president Javier Tebas aimed a barrage of words at Andrea Agnelli after the Juventus president resigned along with the whole board following an enquiry into shady dealings at the club. The Spanish executive picked at Agnelli’s plans for a European Super League, but now has faced criticism from FIGC chief Gabriele Gravina.

Speaking at the “Calcio & Welfare” event in Naples (via Tuttomercatoweb), the Serie A president took the chance to hit back at Tebas.

“Some reflections and free attacks have come from those who should look at their own home. I think they are quite out of place. We are in close contact with UEFA, the international body, we await the process and then we draw conclusions.”

Tebas had earlier shared his joy at the news of Agnelli leaving the club.

La Liga earlier this year, in April, filed complaints at UEFA for violations of financial fair play against Juventus, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
