Fiorentina After Inter, Lecce, and Sassuolo Strikers

Fiorentina are turning their attention to the transfer market after ushering in new coach Raffaele Palladino, and, since finding a new center-forward will be among their main priorities, they have started to track a few Serie A options, such as Marko Arnautovic, Nenad Krstovic, and Andrea Pinamonti.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, La Viola already chased after the Inter veteran in January but to no avail. He has registered seven goals and three assists this campaign. He recently stated he’d like to stay put. However, the Nerazzurri are seeking to offload him to make room for another offensive weapon. They paid about €10M to acquire him from Bologna and would want to recoup the investment.

In addition to Arnautovic, Fiorentina have shown preliminary interest in Krstovic and Pinamonti. The former tallied 7 goals in his maiden Serie A campaign. Genoa are keen on him as well. Lecce signed him for €3.9M from Dunsajska Streda. His valuation has gone up significantly.

Per Alfredo Pedullà, the Gigliati have shortlisted the Italian marksman, who will surely leave Sassuolo after the relegation.

Our Take on Fiorentina, Arnautovic, Krstovic, and Pinamonti

They’d take one big problem off Inter’s plate if they went for the Austrian talisman. Palladino’s tactics worked quite well once they signed a similar player, Milan Djuric, in January. On the other hand, they’d probably prefer spending for somebody with upside. It’d be a nice landing spot for the Sassuolo striker and a good match in general, but he’s fairly pricey, fee and salary-wise, despite the situation.
