Fiorentina and Man United Distant on Amrabat Price Tag

Manchester United target Sofyan Amrabat is still distant from securing a move to Old Trafford despite the Red Devils being the only club expressing serious interest. The Fiorentina central midfielder has been the subject of talks between the two sides, but neither have been able to come to an agreement regarding the transfer fees.

La Nazione (via ViolaNews) reports that United are still way off the Viola’s asking price of €30-35M, with the Manchester natives offering a tag in the range of €25M, including bonuses.

Fiorentina chief Rocco Commisso does not intend to accept anything less than €30M. The Premier League giants are expected to table an offer soon enough, but the Morocco international’s Viola stay is ruled out either.

Amrabat is reportedly high on Erik Ten Hag’s wishlist, with the Dutch manager handing the Moroccan his senior debut at Eredivisie outfit Utrecht. However, United are expected to make a move only once the Rasmus Hojlund saga comes to a close.

Fiorentina have already onboarded Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo from Juventus on a loan deal, perhaps in a bid to fill in for Amrabat.
