Fiorentina Ax Milan Offensive Target from UEFA List

Luka Jovic wasn’t included in Fiorentina’s first UEFA list for the upcoming European Conference League playoffs as his departure, toward Milan or another side, draws closer. The Rossoneri are hunting for a striker but reportedly prefer different options.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serb represents a cheap fallback plan. The parties have outlined the figures of the potential transfer. The buyers would spend €2.5M to acquire him. He’d sign a two-year contract or a seasonal one with an option.

Milan have an excellent relationship with the agent of Jovic, Fali Ramadani. He helped them out in the acquisitions of Luka Romero and Christian Pulisic. The former Real Madrid striker is tied to Fiorentina until 2024. They have a clause to extend his deal for two more campaigns.

The Viola got him gratis, but they owe 50 percent of his sale to Real Madrid. The forward is reportedly keen on the move because he’d stay in Italy. Moreover, that would allow the Rossoneri to save on his salary due to fiscal advantages.

Our Take on Milan and Jovic

He’s not the most enticing mark they are keeping tabs on, but he’d be cost-effective. He’s a purer no.9 than Noah Okafor, but not by a lot as he’s not big and physical as Olivier Giroud. Either way, the Gigliati will rely on Lucas Beltran and M’Bala Nzola this season.
