Having already eyed him last summer, their officials are said to have initiated first contacts with the Spanish heavyweights to assess his availability. However, they will first have to navigate a complicated economic situation where Madrid demand nothing short of his €20M – one-third of what the Spaniards paid for him – and his whopping €6M net per season wages.
