Fiorentina are not totally opposed to selling Dusan Vlahovic in January, although it would require a massive bid. More importantly, they want the player to come forward about his intentions.

Director Joe Barone weighed in before facing Napoli in Coppa Italia: “The matter is being talked about daily, but we want to focus on the group. I have already discussed him at length. We expect an answer from him and his entourage right away. We have our plans as well.”

“I had a long conversation with him two days ago, and I inquired about what he wants his path to be. He should say publicly whether he wants to stay in Florence or leave. From what I heard, he is unwilling to speak out. We have to make a decision inside the management.”

The Fiorentina exec denied receiving offers for Vlahovic when asked about the rumored €70M price tag: “Sure, we are ready to evaluate anything. We would take into consideration a bid of that caliber, but nothing arrived yet.”

Vlahovic again sidestepped questions about his Fiorentina future in the pre-game remarks. A journalist requested whether he would stay for a few weeks or a few months: “We came here to play a match, and that is the most important thing for the team. We must not concern ourselves with other matters.”

Arsenal are trying to sign him, but the Serbian striker is only lukewarm on them. He certainly wants to play in the Champions League next season, SportMediaset reports.
