The name in contention for a move to Firenze is Nicolas Valentini, as per TNT Sports (via ViolaNews). The 22-year-old has reportedly been followed by Viola scouts in recent games in the Argentine Primera Division, and the club’s evaluation has been deemed positive as per the player’s performances.

Valentini possesses a release clause worth €10M, and it does not look like Boca Juniors will accept any less for the defender’s exit. His contract in Buenos Aires expires in the winter of 2024.
Born in Argentina, the Boca academy graduate is of Italian descent. He could follow the same footsteps as Mateo Retegui and perhaps star for the Italy national team.
