He was brought down in an ugly-looking manner right at the end of the game, being subject to a severe injury to the biceps femoris tendon of his left hamstring. Although his condition was deemed not so serious in the beginning, test results marked his thigh unstable in the long run, forcing him to undergo surgery. As per an official statement by Milan, Florenzi is estimated to make a full recovery in five months. That certainly means he will be out for the better half of the club’s season.
