Milan Hand Recovery Timeline Following Florenzi Surgery

Milan signed Alessandro Florenzi on a permanent deal this summer, having spent last season on loan at San Siro en route to the club’s 19th Scudetto triumph. He has appeared 32 times for the Rossoneri since moving but will have to wait for a long time before registering more caps due to his unfortunate injury against Sassuolo at the end of last month.

He was brought down in an ugly-looking manner right at the end of the game, being subject to a severe injury to the biceps femoris tendon of his left hamstring. Although his condition was deemed not so serious in the beginning, test results marked his thigh unstable in the long run, forcing him to undergo surgery. Thankfully, the postoperative results after the operation in Finland yesterday morning turned out positive.

As per an official statement by Milan, Florenzi is estimated to make a full recovery in five months. That certainly means he will be out for the better half of the club’s season.
