Fiorentina and Inter icon Francesco Toldo has backed Inter and Fiorentina to play one another in the final of the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri are scheduled to face Juventus, whereas Cremonese will play Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the national cup.
Toldo, who was a guest on Radio Firenze Viola, shed light on what he wishes he see in the final of the Coppa Italia.
“I hope for an Inter-Fiorentina final, even if It would be hard for me, because I support both. If Juventus happens, there would certainly be no doubts about whom to support. I still hope there is Inter-Fiorentina.” (via FCInterNews)
Toldo spent eight seasons in Fiorentina before jumping ship to Inter, where he spent the whole decade in the 2000s. The Padua-born goalkeeper ended his career in the Nerazzurri colors, having starred for Hellas Verona, Trento, and Ravenna beforehand. He collected 639 club appearances over the years.
