With the end of the season fast approaching, several players are currently playing their last matches with their clubs, as they are about to explore free agency. Therefore, a host of Serie A names could be making the switch between the Top Italian sides, including Juventus, Milan and Inter.
According to La Repubblica (via Calciomercato), the Bianconeri are ready to try their luck in the pursuits of Rossoneri pair Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.
The young shot-stopper has been on the Old Lady’s shortlist for quite some time now, and this could be their golden opportunity to lock down the goalkeeping department for the next ten years or so.
Moreover, it has been claimed that Donnarumma’s future was one of the topics discussed in a recent meeting between Juventus directors and his agent Mino Raiola.
The Italian champions are also linked with a move for the Turkish attacking midfielder, who is yet to be tempted by the Diavolo’s contract extension offers.
Whilst Milan are in danger of losing two of their key players to Juventus, they are planning on a raid of their own, targeting a defender from Inter.
Danilo D’Ambrosio was a key player within Antonio Conte’s squad last season, scoring some decisive goals for the Beneamta.
Nonetheless, the Italian international has fallen down in the pecking order during the current campaign, and was only given playing time in 15 Serie A appearances, whilst his last start dates back to November 22.
The 32-year-old’s contract is set to expire by the end of the season, and although the Nerazzurri have an option to renew the deal for another season, their neighbors will try to pounce on the situation and sign him for free.
According to Calciomercato, Milan have already met with the agent of the Inter defender, and are willing to offer him a contract for the next two years.
