Frosinone Hold Talks for Inter’s Fabbian After Udinese Discord

Inter starlet Giovanni Fabbian is destined to complete the 2023/24 season elsewhere, as the Nerazzurri look to offload him temporarily to accelerate his development. Three concrete suitors have emerged in the race for Fabbian – Bologna, Frosinone and Genoa – and it might not be long before a deal is struck for the Italy U21 talent.

Latest information emerging from Italy points to the fact that Serie A newcomers Frosinone are in pole position to lure the youngster on a flat one-season loan. Frosinone chairman Guido Angelozzi and Michelangelo Minieri, the player’s agent, recently concluded talks with the Inter management at the club’s headquarters in Milan.

The representatives have so far failed to boil down to an agreement, boosting chances for either Bologna or Genoa, with the former also keeping their arms wide open. Yet, an agreement is expected between Inter and Frosinone in the coming hours.

Fabbian’s prospective move to Udinese broke down earlier following disagreements in the deal for Lazar Samardzic between Inter and the Friulani. The deal went south after Fabbian reportedly agreed personal terms with Udinese.
