Galeno Tops Juventus Shortlist but No Ongoing Talks

Galeno has emerged as the top Juventus target on the wings. He wouldn’t be as expensive as Karim Adeyemi, but their officials prefer sealing other deals before haggling with Porto, Alfredo Pedullà informs.

The Bianconeri are in advanced talks with Nice to finalize the Jear-Clair Todibo signing. They will then focus on Teun Koopmeiners afterward. They have good chances of snapping up the former on an initial loan. However, they will have to agree to surefire conditions to activate the obligation to buy. A low immediate disbursement would lead to higher offers for the Dutchman and a pacey attacker.

Juventus would have to spend €30M or so for Galeno. They are also keen on Francisco Conceiçao, who just picked up a muscular injury. Borussia Dortmund would let go of Adeyemi only for a very high fee. The Old Lady might have already opted out.

The Serie A outfit hasn’t had new contacts for Jadon Sancho. They are interested in Nico Gonzalez but would like to purchase using makeweights. Instead, Fiorentina would rather get cash only, at least at this stage. Atalanta should table their opening bid soon.

Our Take on Juventus and Galeno

It’s weird and debatable that the role isn’t more of a priority since they are very thin on the flank, especially should they freeze out Federico Chiesa if he doesn’t leave. Perhaps they don’t necessarily have a priority objective here, unlike in other situations, and believe they’ll be fine with whatever the market has to offer late in the window.
