Gosens Over the Moon for Transferring to Fiorentina

Robin Gosens finally managed to return to Serie A this summer, as Fiorentina onboarded him on deadline day after multiple teams tried earlier on. His agent Gianluca Mancini spilled the beans to Radio Sportiva (via Calcio Style).

“In the end, our patient strategy paid off, because the right team to bring him back to Serie A materialized. He wanted it at all costs because he loves this country. Bologna and Torino inquired beforehand. You can’t say no to La Viola, and we immediately liked the project.”

Gosens was also looking for the right tactical fit.

They can be the surprise of the season. Our personal objective is to be called up by Germany. He transferred to the Bundesliga to have more visibility, then his club’s results played a role.
