Graham Potter on Zakaria’s Departure: “No Decision Has Been Made”

With the mid-point of the campaign quickly approaching, Chelsea manager Graham Potter revealed his opinion on Denis Zakaria’s potential return to Juventus.

After having only played six months with the Bianconeri since arriving from Bundesliga giants Borussia Monchengladbach in the winter transfer window last season, the Swiss international joined the Premier League giants on the deadline day on a long-season loan with an option to buy worth 30m.

However, with the holding midfielder having not played any minutes for Chelsea within their first 13 matches across all competitions, speculation has emerged that the 25 year-old could potentially depart in the winter transfer window in order to resume action with Allegri’s squad.

In the press conference ahead of Chelsea’s fixture against Brentford tomorrow evening within the Premier League, relayed by Tuttomercatoweb, the former Brighton manager shed light on the situation regarding Zakaria’s future at the club:“No decision has been made. Denis has trained well and is ready to help the team.”
