Treble Hero Milito Urges Inter to ‘Seize’ Dybala Signing

Iconic Inter treble-winning hero Diego Milito believes his former employers must do everything they can in their power to ‘seize’ the opportunity to sign Argentine playmaker Paulo Dybala. Inter are the first in line, by a mile, to capture the soon-to-be free agent’s signature. La Joya’s Juventus contract expires on July 1st and keeping that in mind, the legend has urged the Nerazzurri not to pass up the chance to sign him.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker called his compatriot ‘an asset for any team’ taking into consideration his attacking abilities in the final third.

“Everyone could use him. If there is a chance, then he must be seized. He would be an asset in a team that is already complete. Dybala would be in the right club to reset and restart. And he wouldn’t change leagues; he knows Serie A well, he wouldn’t struggle. The team and the fans would welcome him, and his desire for revenge would make the difference.”

The 28-year-old scored 115 goals in 293 appearances for La Vecchia Signora over the course of seven seasons, winning five consecutive Scudetti, along with 4 Coppa Italia and 3 Supercoppa Italiana titles. On top of commenting on Dybala, Milito added that losing PSG-linked Milan Skriniar would be a ‘major loss’ but he is confident the club would be able to replace him properly.
