Idea of Orsolini Emerges for Napoli to Replace Lozano

Rossoblu star Riccardo Orsolini could potentially take a step forward in his career by signing for the Partenopei. Not only Kim Min-jae and Victor Osimhen, but Hirving Lozano is close to exiting Napoli as well. The Mexican forward has functioned as a shadow of his former self despite winning the most prized trophy of his career last season, and could soon be replaced by the Bologna forward.

As per Sky Italia (via TuttoNapoli), Lozano has just one year left on his contract, and with no indications of an extension, a goodbye seems like most probable outcome. Napoli are pondering how to go about the ex-PSV Eindhoven striker’s situation, with Orsolini touted to replace him at the helm of attack.

Orsolini, at the moment, is just an idea for Napoli, with no indications of Rudi Garcia or Aurelio De Laurentiis actually making an effort in signing him. The 26-year-old right winger will soon enter the final season of his Bologna contract. Inter and Fenerbahce have also been linked to Orsolini.

Meanwhile, Lozano is on the radar of clubs from not only Europe, but from across the world. Teams from Saudi Arabia are taking interest in Chucky, but the prospect of returning home is also on the cards. Mexican outfit Chivas are interested in bringing the winger back to Mexico. He has 30 goals in 155 appearances for Napoli since moving from PSV in 2019.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via TuttoNapoli), Edon Zhegrova and Adama Traore are also of interest to Napoli.
