Lazio Star Feeling Better after Controversial Absence

Immobile missing the past two Italy games, in particular the Hungary one, caused some controversy, as he appeared ready to board the flight to Budapest before Lazio stepped in. The striker cleared the air and provided an update on his status to Sky during a presser for the charity event ‘Partita per la Pace.’

“I’m feeling good but it’s a little dangerous to practice and play. The doctors told me to rest, but they are always cautious. The situation is a little borderline, as it was when I left the national team. I’d like to feature against Spezia if the risk isn’t too big.”

He should practice in limited capacity Friday to assess how it feels. He’ll get the start if there are no hiccups.
