Inter Ace Brozovic Close to Joining Ronaldo at Al-Nassr

In a potentially shock move, Inter are on the verge of losing star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic to Al-Nassr. The Saudi Arabian club are close to confirming the signing, in a bid to beat transfer market rivals Barcelona for the Croatian ace.

As per latest reports from Sky Italia (via FCInterNews), the two parties have agreed to a €23M transfer, however without coming to personal terms with the player himself. The Riyadh-based club are confident of closing the deal, and the Nerazzurri themselves have adopted a surprising stance of losing their star midfielder.

The whole deal balances upon Brozovic’s decision now, as the 30-year-old ponders where to continue his future, after nine years leading the Nerazzurri midfield. A €20M net per season wage awaits him in the Saudi capital.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin recently exchanged a few words with Brozovic, thanking him for his services. The Inter star expressed his surprise.

“The hell? Everyone saying goodbye to me and I haven’t spoken to anyone! This is mad,” he replied.

An Al-Nassr delegation, led by club CEO Ahmed Alghamdi, left Milan yesterday after reportedly sorting out the final details for Brozovic, with the deal expected to conclude by the end of the week.
