Inter Advised to Not Let Go of Brozovic

Croatian football legend Robert Prosinecki has said that Inter should not let go of Marcelo Brozovic.

The 29-year-old’s current contract with the Nerazzurri runs out next summer and the club is currently negotiating with him regarding a new deal but nothing concrete has happened so far.

Prosinecki has said that there aren’t many players like Brozovic and that Inter cannot let him leave. As quoted by Calciomercato.comthe 52-year-old said: “I know about the expiring contract and I guess they are arguing. I can’t imagine that Inter will let a player like that escape, also because you don’t find many of them around, for me, it’s strategic, even if anything can always happen in football.”

According to recent reports, Brozovic is hoping to agree on a new deal quickly and his representatives will meet Inter officials after the club’s match against Real Madrid. The Nerazzurri are hoping to announce his contract extension by Christmas.

Brozovic has been a key player for Inter since joining them from Dinamo Zagreb, amassing 26 goals and 35 assists in 263 matches across all competitions. This season, the 29-year-old has made 21 appearances so far, scoring once while assisting twice.
