Sassuolo announced to have renewed the contract of Davide Frattesi. The midfield is now tied to the club until 2026 received a sizeable pay bump.

Inter Already Planning Summer Moves to Further Bolster Squad

Inter shored up the roster with two additions in January and laid the foundation for two major summer deals. The Nerazzurri are in the lead for Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi, although it will not be a packaged deal. Sassuolo are open for business, but they will hold talks for the two starlets separately.

At this stage, the striker is more likely to move to Milan than the midfielder, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The 23-year-old turned down offers from abroad to stay put. He wants to keep playing Serie A and join a top team. With Juventus signing Dusan Vlahovic, Inter are the most logical destination, although he will not be cheap.

Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali confirmed to Sky Sport: “Inter were among the first sides that requested Scamacca and Frattesi. That is how big clubs operate. We invest in youngsters, and we know we will eventually have to sell them. Our finances are fine thanks to the Jeremie Boga deal. We will make further evaluations at the end of the season.”

On top of the Neroverdi duo, Inter will likely bring in left-back next summer. They will make another attempt to extend Ivan Perisic’s contract, but it is a longshot. They recently snared Robin Gosens from Atalanta, which allows them to sign a youngster at the position. The leading candidates are Andrea Cambiaso and Fabiano Parisi, Tuttosport informs. The price tag is around €5M for both. Juventus and La Dea are also eyeing the Genoa defender, while Napoli and Lazio are after the Empoli one.
