Inter and Juventus Going Toe-to-Toe to Acquire Bremer

The race to capture Bremer has entered its home stretch, with Juventus joining following the sale of Matthijs De Ligt and Inter meeting Torino to formalize their bid. The Bianconeri could do the same today and their offer should be higher.

As per Sky, the Nerazzurri proposed €30M through an initial loan and Primavera standout Cesare Casadei on a temporary spell. They did not put more money on the table compared to previous weeks. Also because they have not come to terms with PSG for Milan Skriniar yet.

Granata director Davide Vagnati commented:

“We had dinner together, and everything went well with them. We had a nice chat. There is no rush to make a decision. The transfer market is still long. We will see what happens. We are discussing Bremer with both Juventus and Inter.”

The Old Lady is plotting to tender €40M and a higher salary to the player. They have not had a summit with their crosstown rivals yet, but it could happen in short order. On the other hand, if necessary, the Nerazzurri are open to tweaking the formula and the part related to Casadei. While the defender has long reached agreement with La Beneamata, Torino believe he will comply with the decision of the club.

Our Take on Inter and Juventus Dueling for Bremer

The Brazilian center-back would be a really soft landing spot for the Bianconeri after losing Matthijs De Ligt. If not even an upgrade, considering how dominant he was last season. The transition to a four-man line should not be too problematic given his talent. It would be weird if the Granata accepted a lower offer, but the Nerazzurri still have a chance thanks to the connection they have established with the player in the last few months.
