Inter and Sassuolo Put Pen to Paper on Frattesi Deal

Inter and Sassuolo have finalized every detail concerning the transfer of Davide Frattesi. The midfielder is reaching Milan to take the medicals and sign his new contract. The Neroverdi director Giovanni Carnevali announced it to the press after visiting the buyers’ HQ (via SportMediaset).

“It’s done, we just signed everything. We are very happy. It surely wasn’t easy because many teams were interested. But the negotiation with the Nerazzurri ended in the best possible way for us and the player, who had always given his preference to them.”

“We were already in talks for Samuele Mulattieri. We believe in him. He’ll be a nice acquisition for us given our usual policy. Surely, we’ll need to address the midfield now. Frattesi is a young Italian that’s different from anybody else, and Inter made a great purchase. I’m convinced they will valorize him appropriately because he’s a great talent.”

Inter and Sassuolo have agreed to a €36M package for Frattesi. La Beneamata will pay €6M as a fee for the loan, a €27M option to buy in 2024, plus €3M add-ons. Mulattieri, who’s fresh off helping Frosinone return to Serie A, will go the other way with a €6/7M valuation.
