Inter and Sassuolo Touted to Trigger Chain of Transfers Involving Italian Talents

Inter have long been linked with a move for Sassuolo talent Giacomo Raspadori and their move might finally materialize with the Neroverdi having identified his replacement.

According to FCInterNews, the Neroverdi have identified young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca as Raspadori’s direct replacement. The 2000-born centre-forward has appeared on the radars of several top clubs including Milan and Juventus, but his move to Sassuolo could trigger a chain of transfers across the Italian front.

The U21 Italy international has a transfermarkt value of €300,000 – which is relatively less for a player of his potential. But with his contract expiring in June 2026, it is highly unlikely he will move for anything less than €5-10m since he only recently moved to Pisa from Palermo for a transfer fee of €2.10m.

He has been in superb form in Serie B so far, scoring six goals in seven appearances, registering one assist in the process.

His move to Sassuolo might prompt the club to part ways with Inter target Raspadori. The Nerazzurri will likely move for the Sassuolo youth product after the departure of Alexis Sanchez in January’s winter transfer window.
