Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram will join the Nerazzurri on a Bosman deal. The 25-year-old will sign a five-year deal with Inter, until the summer of 2028, putting an end to a long-standing transfer saga.
The Frenchman will land in Milan from Monchengladbach, and will undergo his medical examination soon, before heading to the Inter HQ at Viale della Liberazione to sign his contract. The Nerazzurri were understood to have overtaken the Rossoneri in recent days in the race for Thuram.
Thuram will earn a salary of €6.5M net per season with the Nerazzurri, as he prepares to star alongside Lautaro Martinez and perhaps even Romelu Lukaku at the helm of attack. He will seek to effectively replace Turkey-bound Edin Dzeko.
