Inter Chief Refutes Transfer Talks with Barcelona for Brozovic and Correa

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has outright rejected transfer market rumors of the respective exits of Marcelo Brozovic and Joaquin Correa. Both the players have been linked with a swap move to Barcelona, with ex-Milan midfielder Franck Kessie and Dutch forward Memphis Depay touted to move the other way round.

Marotta was intercepted by Mundo Deportivo (via FCInterNews) on the sidelines of Simone Inzaghi’s Supercoppa Italiana pre-match press conference at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

He was quizzed by the journalist regarding his opinion of the market rumors surrounding the four players, which included the beloved Brozovic. Marotta however kept it short.

Intercepted by a journalist from on the sidelines of Simone Inzaghi’s pre-Italian Super Cup press conference, which took place this morning at the ‘King Fahd International Stadium’ in Riyadh, “There’s nothing at all,” he said, eliminating all doubts of transfer activity.

Marotta’s Inter are solely focused on winning their first title of the season, against reigning Scudetto champions Milan in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
