Inter Confirm Losses in Excess of €100M in Past Season

A day after news broke that Juventus suffered a record loss for an Italian club, Inter have confirmed their financial statement for the previous season. While it is not as dire as their heated rivals, the Nerazzurri were in the red for €140M.

The good news for Inter is that they reduced the losses from the season before by €105M. With that in mind, though, they will still need to work hard to ensure that they do not end up in a worse situation.

Their €245M deficit from the 2020/21 season was the worst ever by an Italian club before Juve beat it, negatively speaking, by €5M for the past campaign.

Inter have not enjoyed a fantastic start to the season on the pitch. Simone Inzaghi’s side has a record of 5-0-4 across all competitions, sitting seventh in Serie A through seven rounds. They are also third in the Champions League after two rounds in a tricky group.
