Inter Could Sign 27-Year-Old Bayern Midfielder Next Summer

Inter are reportedly interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso and could get him on a free transfer next summer.

The 27-year-old’s current contract with the Bundesliga champions runs out next June and the club is yet to determine whether they want him to sign a new deal or not.

Inter and Tottenham are both interested in signing the Frenchman, who is currently valued at €15m according to Transfermarkt. However, he could be available for free next summer if his contract is not renewed.

Tolisso has made 104 appearances for Bayern since joining them from Lyon, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists. His spell with the Bavarians has been hampered with injuries, something which has been the case this season as well.

The Frenchman has made only eight appearances across all competitions in 2021-22, scoring a goal against Bremer and providing an assist against Borussia Dortmund.

With Tolisso’s fitness issues along with the fact that Bayern have some good midfield options, there is a good chance he could leave the club next summer.

Inter have some good midfielders in their squad and adding Tolisso would give Simone Inzaghi more options to pick from. However, one issue would be the 27-year-old’s fitness.
