Inter and Chelsea remain in close contact despite their past dealings. Blues defender Trevoh Chalobah has emerged as a worthy candidate in the crosshairs of the Nerazzurri, as per latest information from Corriere dello Sport.
23-year-old Chalobah is reportedly prepared to leave on loan and get more playing minutes elsewhere, with Chelsea aiming to onboard Leicester City center-back Wesley Fofana.

Amid all the hubbub, Inter have approached the Stamford Bridge outfit to seek a deal for their academy graduate. Only days after Chelsea signed Inter starlet Cesare Casadei, Chalobah has become the center of discussion between the two parties.
Chelsea are not interested to let him leave without any cushioning, but Inter are trying to accelerate things from their end, as they have Francesco Acerbi and Manuel Akanji as the other shortlisted players.
Inter do not wish to spend any more this summer window on permanent deals due to their precarious financial condition, with any impending transfer set to be on loan. The transfer window will close on the 1st of September, before which both clubs will look to settle the deal.
