Romelu Lukaku recently made the headlines with an emotional interview, discussing his departure from Inter in the last summer transfer market. The Belgian striker also apologized to the Inter faithful for not speaking out before leaving the Nerazzurri.
Lukaku left after two successful years at the Giuseppe Meazza, where he was cherished until his departure. He scored 64 goals in 95 appearances in the Black and Blue shirt, leading Inter to the Europa League final in his first season before helping the club secure a well-deserved Scudetto title in 2020/21.
Nevertheless, his exploits don’t seem to change the opinion of the Inter faithful, who have now denounced his apology with a saying of their own.
The Curva Nord have revealed a banner outside San Siro that reads: “It doesn’t matter who runs away in the rain. It counts who stays in the storm. Bye, Romelu.”

However, now things seem to have gone out hand, as the striker is facing backlash from Chelsea fans for openly causing ‘division’ and ‘disrespecting’ the Blues.
Romelu Lukaku to @SkySport: "Physically I am fine. But I'm NOT happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel has chosen to play with another system – I won't give up, I'll be professional. I am not happy with the situation but I am professional – and I can't give up now". ? #CFC pic.twitter.com/KGNoJ10cwp

Spread the message. Player power at this club has got to end. We won the Champions League last season without Lukaku, we certainly don't need him at our football club causing division. No one has the right to undermine Thomas Tuchel. #LukakuOut
