Inter Fringe Attacker Awaiting Offer from Saudi Arabia

Inter might soon receive an offer from Saudi Arabia for Joaquin Correa. The attacker has been for sale for about a year, but no bid has satisfied the Nerazzurri so far. He joined in a €33M move from Lazio.

According to Sportitalia, the interest is tangible even though his agent is playing coy about it. The player will consider the destination, as he has struggled to obtain a consistent role in Milan. The club will evaluate the figure before eventually giving its green light.

If Correa departed, Inter would have to sign two strikers considering Romelu Lukaku’s about-face tied to his Juventus links. They are currently chasing after Alvaro Morata, Folarin Balogun, and Mehdi Taremi.

They have been reportedly offered Beto by his agent. He has a €35M release clause, but his valuation could be slightly lower. Per SportMediaset, he’s also a fallback for Milan if they can’t come to terms with Porto for the Iranian talisman. Udinese would be interested in welcoming Lorenzo Colombo in case.

Our Take on Inter, Correa, and Saudi Arabia

This would pretty much be the only way out of a financial mess. While underwhelming, he’s been valuable in their late-season rotations last season. Other than the numbers, it comes down to whether they want to sign two forward, as they are already having trouble finding one they like for a manageable fee.
